Position:

We have a full-time position of Fruit Picker available in Mena Creek QLD 4871

Skills:

You must have at least 1 year relevant job experience.

Responsibilities:

Your role as the Fruit Picker is to perform routine tasks as directed to assist with banana harvest and packaging.

Duties:

  • Cutting, humping, and loading Bananas
  • Transporting harvested Bananas to the packing shed
  • De suckering, de leafing, and stringing bananas.
  • Cleaning and preparing equipment for use
  • Hanging, de handing, and washing Bananas
  • Cutting, grading, sorting, and packing Bananas
  • Weighing, stacking, and strapping banana pellets
  • Unpacking and storing farm supplies
  • Checking irrigation sprinklers for blockages
  • Washing, cleaning and sterilizing equipment and machinery

Salary:

Annual Salary of $45,000 – $55,000 negotiated based on experience.
