About the Role

This full-time position is perfect if you’re passionate about residential construction and ready for a solid career move. If you’re overseas, don’t stress — we’re an approved sponsor and can help you get a Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) visa (subclass 482). There’s even the chance for long-term work and permanent residency later on.

What You’ll Do Day-to-Day

• Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specs for home building and renovations
• Measure, cut, and assemble timber and other materials for frameworks, walls, roofs, and fixtures
• Install windows, doors, flooring, skirting boards, cabinets, and more
• Keep your work area clean and safe, following all WHS rules
• Work both independently and alongside other tradespeople to get the job done

What We Need From You

• At least 3 years’ experience as a qualified carpenter
• Relevant qualifications like a Certificate III in Carpentry or an equivalent qualification from overseas
• Proven skills working on residential construction projects
• Good understanding of building codes and safety standards
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented and committed to quality workmanship

Bonus Points If You Have

• A White Card or willingness to get one
• A driver’s licence and your own transport
• Experience with Australian building materials and standards
