The Opportunity

We are looking for skilled First-Class Welders to join our team based out of our Karratha branch in the beautiful, coastal Pilbara region. If you love a coastal lifestyle but want the high-reward work of the resources and mining sector, this is the perfect balance.

Moving from overseas? We’ve got you. We are actively open to sponsoring the right people under the TSS-482 or 494 Visa programs (or handling a visa transfer if you’re already in Australia). This includes a 4-year sponsorship nomination with a clear pathway to Permanent Residency, plus support to help you move and settle in.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings and specs.
• Working with FCAW, GMAW, SAW, and GTAW welding processes.
• Examining your own welds for penetration, width, and absolute precision.
• Cleaning and smoothing finishes using filing, polishing, chiseling, and grinding.
• Bringing a positive, reliable attitude to the workshop or site every single day.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualifications: A recognized trade qualification in welding/fabrication (completed apprenticeship or equivalent). An AS 1796 certificate standard is required.
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience working in heavy industry or on mining sites.
• Technical Skill: You must be able to confidently pass a 6GR weld test.
• Safety & Integrity: A valid driver’s license, a commitment to a safe workplace culture, and the ability to pass a pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol screening).
