Job Overview

We are seeking skilled and reliable Carpenters (ANZSCO 331212) to join our team in Darwin. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects while contributing to our reputation for excellence. Visa sponsorship is available for the right candidate, making this an excellent opportunity for experienced international applicants.

Key Responsibilities

• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and other materials.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications to meet project requirements.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials with precision and attention to detail.
• Install framework, flooring, roofing, and trim with a strong focus on quality and safety.
• Inspect and maintain tools, equipment, and materials for optimal functionality and safety.
• Collaborate effectively with project managers, site supervisors, and other tradespeople.
• Adhere to safety protocols, building codes, and company policies.

Essential Requirements

• At least 2 years of proven experience as a Carpenter, preferably in residential or commercial projects.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and safety standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour in outdoor conditions.
• A valid driver’s license.

Desirable Attributes

• Relevant qualifications in Carpentry or Construction (Certificate III or higher).
• Experience working in Australia or familiarity with Australian building standards.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to relocate to Darwin and contribute to the local community.
