We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic to one of our client in Al Ain / Shariah Branches.. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in maintaining and repairing various types of vehicles, machinery, or equipment, ensuring they operate at peak efficiency.

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to maintain and repair machinery, vehicles, and equipment, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. The mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing mechanical issues, carrying out necessary repairs, and performing routine maintenance on a variety of systems and vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Vehicle/Machine Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on a variety of vehicles, machinery, or equipment (depending on the industry), including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Diagnosing Issues: Use diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and troubleshoot mechanical problems. This may include checking engine performance, electrical systems, brakes, and other essential components.
• Repairs: Carry out repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, or electrical and hydraulic systems, ensuring all components are restored to working order.
• Parts Replacement: Replace damaged or worn-out parts with high-quality replacements and ensure that all work meets industry standards and safety regulations.
• Technical Support: Offer advice and technical support to clients or team members on mechanical issues and necessary repairs or maintenance procedures.
• Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and accurate records of inspections, repairs, and services performed on vehicles or machinery. This includes updating work logs and parts inventories.
• Quality Control: Perform quality checks after repairs or maintenance, ensuring that vehicles, machines, or equipment meet operational standards.
• Safety Compliance: Follow safety procedures while performing repairs or maintenance to avoid accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
• Tools & Equipment Care: Maintain and organise tools and equipment used during repairs. Report any equipment malfunctions or deficiencies to supervisors.

Experience

• 2-5 years of experience as a mechanic in a automotive, industrial.
• Experience working with a variety of mechanical systems (automotive, diesel, electrical, etc.) is preferred.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (vocational training or certifications in mechanics is preferred).
• Skills:
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific safety standards and best practices.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to clients or team members.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Certifications (if applicable):
  •  ASE certification for automotive mechanics, relevant mechanical certifications, 
  • Any other specific certifications or licenses related to the type of machinery worked on.
