If you’re a mechanic who is tired of the corporate “dealership” feel and wants to work in a busy, independent garage where your skills are actually appreciated, we’d love to meet you.

We’re SK4 Garage on Battersea Road. We have a great reputation in Stockport, and because we’re growing, we need another pair of hands in the workshop to help us keep up with the workload.

What’s the job?

It’s straightforward garage work, but we do it right. You’ll be:

• Getting stuck into diagnostics and repairs on all sorts of makes and models.
• Handling routine servicing and maintenance.
• Keeping our customers safe on the road.
• If you’ve got your MOT license, you’ll be running Class 4 tests, too.

What we need from you

We aren’t looking for perfection, just someone who knows their way around a toolbox and cares about the quality of their work.

• You’ll need an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).
• A full driving licence is a must.
• You’re someone who can work on your own initiative but isn’t afraid to jump in and help the rest of the team when things get hectic.
