The Role

We are looking for an experienced Fruit Grower to step in as our Farm Manager. This isn’t a “desk job”—it’s a hands-on, boots-on-the-ground leadership role where you’ll be the heartbeat of our production. You’ll be responsible for everything from the first planting to the final harvest, ensuring our crops are healthy and our yields are high.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading the Crop: Planning and managing the daily life of our berries, including planting, irrigation, and harvesting.
• Health & Nutrition: Keeping a close eye on crop health, managing pests/diseases, and overseeing fertilization programs.
• Team Leadership: Coordinating our farm crew and seasonal workers to keep things running smoothly.
• Maintenance: Making sure our farm machinery and equipment are well-maintained and ready for work.
• Safety & Records: Ensuring everyone stays safe on-site and keeping our production records accurate for future forecasting.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

We need someone who knows their way around a farm and isn’t afraid of a bit of hard work. Ideally, you have:

• A Certificate III (or higher) in Agriculture/Horticulture OR at least 3 years of solid experience in fruit or berry production.
• A deep understanding of irrigation, crop management, and pest control.
• Experience leading a team—you know how to motivate people and get the best out of a crew.
• A commitment to farm safety and compliance.
• The stamina for physical work and the flexibility to handle early starts or weekend work when the season demands it.
