Agriculture Investor Sixth Street San Francisco CA

This is a full-time investing role based in San Francisco. This person will be part of the Agriculture Team and be responsible for leading financial underwriting/deals analysis across relevant investment opportunities and integrating assets into our ecosystem of operating partners and technical services teams.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct bottom-up property and asset surveys to understand risks and values, and work with agricultural partners and technical service teams to make property-level operational decisions
• Take the lead in screening new investment opportunities and complete transactions
• Help negotiate purchase and cooperation terms
• Looking for new investment opportunities in agriculture and agribusiness
• Establish relationships with new operating partners and transaction initiation channels
• Cooperate with the wider Ag team and the wider Sixth Street investment platform as needed
• Assist the group’s specific daily farms and agribusiness operations

What We Value:

• More than 8 years of working experience in agricultural or agribusiness investment, private equity or physical asset investment
• Need a good academic record and a bachelor’s degree
• A proactive, entrepreneurial and team-oriented candidate with mature underwriting, valuation analysis and transaction completion experience
