Cost of Sales and Inventory (COSI) Process Steward
Primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Responsible for understanding the end-to-end business process for costing, inventory, transfer pricing and FSC to:
Ensure relevant risks have been identified and mitigated by appropriately designed controls
Ensure that business processes and controls are clearly documented
Ensure documentation reflects current state execution of end to end process
Ensure controls are executed and documented on a timely basis to maintain an effective control environment
Collaborate with Cost of Sales and Inventory (COSI) team during the month-end close to continue driving process optimization to support the accelerated close calendar
Drive consistent execution of key activities
Identify challenges and implement mitigation plan for following close
Implement appropriate tracking metrics to measure performance
Responsible for the harmonization of business processes to support the Global COSI business delivery model.
Share best practices with the COSI team to drive further efficiencies and effectiveness.
Responsible for Internal Controls System (Archer)
Maintain control over the Archer system and ensure the information updated timely
Coordinate both internal and external audits of the COSI team
Partner with audit to understand process changes/control impacts, align on remediation plans (if needed) and identify opportunities for improvement
Partner with the Costa Rica BSC to fully realize the IC COE scope within the BSC; including the process ownership and governance components.
Partner with GBS (Global Business Services) organization to identify and implement automation.
Position Qualifications:
Education Minimum Requirement:
BS/BA is required
BS in Accounting required
CPA preferred
Required Experience and Skills:
4+ years accounting/finance experience
Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills required along with demonstrated experience working with global and cross-functional teams
Strong analytical skills, detail oriented, effective communication and interpersonal skills, ability to build effective working relationships across functions, willingness and capability to gather data and understand the desired outcomes cross functionally, project management skills and results oriented
Engages customers and stakeholders and demonstrates knowledge and awareness of their needs/expectation
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Experience working in SAP and/or HFM.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
