Located in Aurora, ON
Salary: 20
Currently seeking to hire day shift and afternoon shift assemblers/general labourers for a facility in Aurora, ON. Previous experience in a production/manufacturing environment is preferred.
Duties:
- Use hand tools and power tools to prepare, drill, nail, and assemble plastic bins (recycling and garbage bins)
- Possible assistance with the machine operators, such us moving materials, unloading machines, etc.
- Possible operation of machinery to cut, bend, mold, rivet industrial plastic pieces
- Cleaning workshop and machinery, minor maintenance as needed
- Assist in shipping sometimes with stacking/packing/wrapping skids
- Other related production duties as required
- Other duties required by supervisor/manager/team lead
Qualifications:
- Some experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to do heavy lifting
- Good verbal/written communication skills in English
- Basic Math Skills
- Willingness and ability to learn/use hand and power tools is a must
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable standing or sitting for long periods
- Have safety steel toed shoes
- Some of the lifting will be over head, must be able to lift over head for a period of time until the bin is assembled (you will be working in a team of 4 when doing this)
