We are looking for YOU!

We are currently looking for Journeymen Heavy Equipment Technicians (ON-ROAD) who have the ability to diagnose and repair a variety of mobile equipment.

Security, medical, drug and alcohol, pre-screening required along with proof of covid-19 vaccination required. One must be double vaccinated to work at the mine site.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Provide Technical Support and coaching to assist the department and the company to strive to achieve their goals of “ZERO HARM”
  • Troubleshoot and repair of light duty and medium duty mining equipment: Ford Super Duties, Western Star Trucks, Freightliners, Road Trains, Trailer, Getmans, Toyotas Minecats, Genie Lifts and many others.
  • The disassembly/overhaul of engines or engine components, transmissions, drive systems components and other assemblies
  • The diagnosis of equipment problems; identifying and replacing, as required, worn or broken parts, making all necessary adjustments and alignments
  • The diagnosis of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, identifying and replacing worn or broken parts, making all necessary adjustments and alignments
  • Suspension and brake repairs
  • Preventative maintenance
  • Keeping the shop safe, by maintaining a safe, clean and organized work area
  • Other duties as requested
