Digital Creative Services is a dynamic team of talented, art directors, photographers, producers, digital designers, production artists and copywriters. We work closely with our counterparts to make our websites, emails and digital assets come alive with the Pottery Barn Kids and Teen’s brand voice and vision. We also collaborate closely with our cross-functional partners in eCom, Development, and Brand Marketing to name a few! About the Role

The Photo Manager will work with in-house and freelance creative and photo teams to lead, develop and manage daily workflow for the photo studios. Project manage teams to deliver the best photographic representation of the company’s products and brand identity across multiple platforms and channels in accordance with corporate and strategic goals.

  • Work as the liaison with creative teams and business partners to deliver on-time and high-quality photo assets
  • Project manage weekly and seasonal calendar with internal platforms to schedule photoshoots
  • Project manage weekly and seasonal calendar for internal 3D scanning of products
  • Maintain and manage photo studio budget to deliver to forecast budgets
  • Work with in-house art directors and stylists to ensure consistent photographic brand identity across all media channels
  • Oversee and develop producers to meet and exceed creative and business goals and deadlines
  • Work with producers to ensure weekly call sheets are updated and sent out to all teams
  • Ensure digital techs, photographers and producers have the most up-to-date information for image file naming and tagging
  • Partner with staff Digital Artists to assure image quality assurance
  • Partner with ecom and brand merchants to maintain product accuracy and sample availability for photoshoots
  • Collaborate with all creative, ecom and merchant teams to ensure deadlines are met

We’re excited about you because…

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required
  • 4+ years of experience in photo studios
  • 4+ years of experience in retail or related field
  • Managed multiple team members
  • Ability to work onsite in our Richmond corporate office
  • Familiarity with project management and creative tools (Airtable, JIRA, Figma)
  • Experience working cross-functionally across many teams and departments
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organization skills; must be highly detail-oriented
  • Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in office and perform in corporate environment
  • Ability to sit/stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to type on a keyboard and operate a Mac and PC
  • Ability to converse over a telephone or zoom

The expected starting pay range for this position is $88,100-$104,400. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.
