Our client is seeking to engage a Wind Farm | Control Room Operator on a Permanent, Full time basis.

Functions and tasks:

Real-time operation –

Perform the remote operation and real-time supervision of wind turbines and substations, facing incidents or programmed and non-programmed works, of the different Wind Farms operated by the client in Australia from the APREC (Asian Pacific Renewable Energy Center).

Internal Communication –

Direct communication with the Wind Farm Supervisor for the coordination of programmed and non-programmed works, as well as notification of serious incidents in the grid or in the wind turbines that require local action.

External Communication –

Direct communication with the electrical contractors in charge of the local works of the substations, as well as with the contractors for maintenance of the technologists of each installation for the revision of the equipment.

Backoffice –

Preparation of reports for the monitoring of the production and the incidents in the grid, for all the Wind Farms.

Professional experience (area of activity, time in the post, functions):

  • 2 years of experience in control and monitoring positions.

Specific knowledge:

  • Basic knowledge of the practices functions and processes that the operation of a generation plant entails (preferably Wind farm).
  • Knowledge of the operation of the Australian energy market.
  • High data analysis capacity

Languages:

  • Native English
