We are looking for a Sales Administrator this role may be based out of any of our Pattison Agriculture locations.

Purpose:

Supports the Sales Department with the necessary administrative requirements, program support and building used equipment.

Key Responsibility Areas:

Sales Administration

Supporting the Customer Relationship Management Tool (CRM), i.e. Handle

Training new sales staff in the Customer Relationship Management Tools i.e. JD Quote2 and Handle

Manages trade inventory in Business system

Managing/working with JD Quote requirements

Maintain customer data to ensure records are accurate

Maintains accurate and standardized files

Field administrative/procedural inquiries from the sales team

As needed, provides general administrative assistance for the sales team

Compiling reports for VP of Sales and Marketing, and VP of Pre-Owned(Used) Equipment

Supports the Wholegoods Inventory Manager

Administration

Direct inquiries to the appropriate department/individual ensuring customer needs are met in a timely and efficient manner

Assisting in call overflow

Organization / Department / Team Support

Works in an administrative capacity with the new and preowned sales groups

Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion

Ensures all safety regulations and requirements are followed by self and others

Works to build and maintain constructive co-worker relations, and effective and productive team dynamics

Personal Development

Maintains current knowledge required to be successful in the position

Maintains up-to-date and current product knowledge required by the position

Maintains technical and behavioural skills

Participates in training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge

Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments

Desired Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

Administrative expertise and knowledge of office procedures

General knowledge of accounts payable and general ledgering processes

Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Internet applications and other computer software

Good attention to detail and organizational skills

General understanding of branding, marketing & advertising concepts

Minimum Grade 12; Business or Commerce diploma a definite asset or a combination of education and experience

2+ years’ experience with various software and software support

2+ years of accounting experience asset

Ability to read, write, and speak effectively with customers and/or other employees

Ability to work in a team environment

Valid driver’s license required
