We are Todays Express Ltd, and we’re looking for a talented Web Design Professional to join us on-site at our office in Kingston upon Hull. We’re a fast-moving team, and we need someone who isn’t just good with a mouse, but who truly understands how to create a great experience for the person on the other side of the screen.

The Role

This isn’t a “sit in the corner and code” kind of job. You’ll be right in the heart of our projects, helping us build the future of our digital brand. You’ll be:

• Building from scratch: Designing engaging layouts for our websites and mobile apps.
• Improving the Journey: Looking at our current sites and figuring out how to make them smoother, faster, and easier to use (UX/UI).
• Collaborating: Working closely with our IT and marketing teams to bring your designs to life.
• Staying Ahead: Keeping us fresh by researching the latest trends—if there’s a better way to do something, we want to hear it!

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: You’ve been doing this for at least 2 years and have a portfolio you’re proud of.
• Tools of the Trade: You’re a pro with Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design software.
• A Problem-Solver: You don’t just see a “broken link”; you see an opportunity to improve a user’s day.
• Communication: You can explain your design choices to the team and listen to feedback with an open mind.
