At Lalonde Honey Farms, we’re gearing up for a busy season and we’re looking for 8 hardworking Apiary Technicians to join our crew out here in Clavet, Saskatchewan.

If you love working with bees and don’t mind rolling up your sleeves for some honest, physical work in the great outdoors, we’d love to meet you.

What the job looks like

This is a full-time, hands-on role. You won’t just be watching the hives; you’ll be right in the thick of it. On a typical day, you’ll be:

• Caring for the colonies: Checking on hive health, identifying diseases, and treating them to keep the bees thriving.
• The Harvest: We do a mix of manual and automated honey extraction. You’ll be responsible for harvesting, extracting, and packaging both our honey and beeswax.
• Farm Life: This is a rural, outdoor setting. It gets hot, the work is fast-paced, and you’ll be on your feet most of the day.

Who we’re looking for

We need someone who truly knows their way around an apiary. Ideally, you have 1 to 2 years of solid experience with bees and honey harvesting.

Since this is a physical job, you’ll need to be comfortable lifting heavy loads (up to 100 lbs) and staying active in the heat. There’s no degree required for this—we care much more about your experience and your attention to detail.

The Details

• Pay: $15.35 to $21.00/hour (we’re happy to negotiate this based on your experience).
• Hours: Standard 35 to 40-hour weeks.
• Living Here: Since we are in a rural area, we provide staff housing to make things easier for you.
