What you’ll be doing

You’ll be hauling goods across Canada and over the border. Since you’re the captain of your rig, your day-to-day will involve:

• Driving solo, in a team, or in a convoy.
• Checking and securing your cargo (including tarping and occasionally helping load/unload up to 50 lbs).
• Staying on top of safety: doing your pre-trip and post-trip inspections (brakes, tires, lights) and handling basic roadside fixes if needed.
• Keeping dispatch updated and staying on top of your logs (hours, fuel, distance).

What we’re looking for

• The paperwork: You need a Class 1 (or Class A) license with an Air Brakes Endorsement.
• Language & Education: No degree or diploma needed, but you must be able to speak and understand English to communicate with dispatch.
• Travel: You must be comfortable with cross-border routes, overnight trips, and being away on extended runs.
• The basics: You’ll need to pass a drug test, a medical exam, and have a clean driving abstract.

📄 LMIA Status: Approved. The employer is authorized to hire foreign workers. Canadian citizens and permanent residents are also encouraged to apply.
