What you’ll actually be doing

You’ll be working directly with our CTO to design, build, and scale the core tech behind our app. Since we handle people’s money across borders, high performance and tight security aren’t optional—they’re everything.

• Build & Own Core Systems: You’ll own key parts of our backend—from API architecture and CI/CD pipelines to security and banking integrations.
• Keep Things Healthy: You’ll spot weak links in the codebase and infrastructure and clean them up before they turn into real problems.
• Help Us Scale: You’ll set up good dev practices, help make our tooling faster, and participate in hiring as the team grows.
• Be Pragmatic: You know how to balance shipping fast with writing clean, maintainable code.

What we’re looking for

• Solid CS Fundamentals: Clean architecture, layered abstractions, and a good handle on databases and complexity trade-offs.
• Infra & DevOps Know-how: Comfortable with backend systems, SRE, Infrastructure as Code, and automated deployments.
• Security Mindset: You know how to lock down financial systems so they can withstand real penetration attempts.
• Ownership Mentality: You like moving fast, taking responsibility for your work, and helping teammates out.
• (Fintech or early-stage startup experience is a big plus, but not required!)
