Our kitchen is busy, friendly, and passionate, and we need a talented Head Chef to step in and run the show.

What the job actually looks like

The kitchen is completely yours. We aren’t looking for someone to just stand around with a clipboard—we need a true leader who loves to cook, enjoys mentoring a team, and takes pride in every single plate that goes out to our guests.

• Looking after the crew: Training, supporting, and motivating the kitchen staff so everyone enjoys coming to work and works well as a team.
• The food: Taking total charge of the prep and cooking for all our South Indian classics—perfect dosas, curries, biryanis, chutneys, and seafood.
• Running a smart kitchen: Keeping an eye on food costs, ordering, and portion sizes so we stay on budget without ever cutting corners on quality.
• Menu freedom: Bringing your own ideas to the table and tweaking the menu with the seasons, while keeping the flavors traditional.
• Safety & Cleanliness: Making sure the kitchen is absolutely spotless and always follows standard UK hygiene laws.
• Suppliers & Front of House: Chatting with suppliers to get the freshest ingredients at the best prices, and working closely with the front-of-house team so service runs smoothly.

What we need from you

• Experience: You’ve already worked as a Head Chef or a Senior Sous Chef in a busy South Indian or Indian restaurant.
• The Know-How: You deeply understand South Indian spices, regional cooking traditions, and techniques.
• Good Vibes: You know how to talk to people with respect, keep the team motivated, and stay calm and organized when the dinner rush hits.
• Business Minded: You understand how to manage stock, reduce food waste, and keep things profitable.
• Location: You are currently living in the UK.
