Overview
Hexagon’s Autonomy & Positioning division is looking for a full-time Assembler to join our Production group. The Production group is responsible for the assembly, testing and packaging of GPS products. This is a team based role, in a respectful and culturally diverse workplace. The environment is safety conscious as well as temperature and humidity controlled. Teams work in 2 rotating shift schedules: 7:00 am – 2:45 pm and 2:30 pm – 10:15 pm. This role may require some overtime work, including weekends.

The Location: Hexagon is a global company with locations around the world. This position is worked on-site and is based in Calgary, AB.
Responsibilities
As an Assembler, you will:
- Assemble, test, configure and package GPS products
- Contribute to and be involved in continuous improvements
- Receive products from production in MRP system
- Participate in tasks such as lifting ~ 40 Ibs and picking materials for different products
Qualifications
Must-Have:
1-2 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment
High School Diploma
Good working knowledge of MS Office and Outlook
Key Success Factors:
Attention to detail
Able to follow verbal and written work instructions
Able to work in a fast paced team environment with minimal supervision
Nice-to-Have:
Experience with electronic troubleshooting and repair
Experience in a lean manufacturing environment
Experience with MRP system, such as Syteline
