Your Opportunity:

Reporting to the Time & Labour Senior Advisor, the Time & Labour Business Analyst is a key position that serves as a liaison between the Human Resource Shared Services and AHS Information Technology. As a functional analyst within the HR Time & Labour team, you will be troubleshooting possible system issues, coordinate system changes from change request, and design through testing to migration providing expertise to facilitate the delivery and support of various PeopleSoft modules, troubleshoot issues, analyze current system and business processes, and develop recommendations for implementing enhancements, fixes, or new processes.

Description:

Time & Labour is a fast paced and challenging environment that is part of the Payroll operational team. This role will be responsible for: Monitoring system processes and pay rules to ensure they operate efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner. Manage and investigate complex issues, questions or concerns from the Time & Labour team for changes that may impact critical stakeholders. Escalate any issues or required changes to established Time & Labour/Payroll policies, system rules or processes to the Time & Labour leadership. Collaborate and establish relationships with Time & Labour partners. Define and analyze the PeopleSoft technical and functional requirements. Assess impact to other modules including Position Management, HR, Payroll, Pension, Payroll Accounting, Self Service and Benefits Administration. Assist with project oversight from design through implementation on multiple system enhancements and configuration requests.

Required Qualifications:

Strong business and functional knowledge of PeopleSoft with a focus on Payroll and Time and Labor, along with Manager Self Service and Employee Self Service. Minimum of 8 years demonstrated experience within the last 10 years as a Business Analyst in a PeopleSoft HRMS environment. A University Degree in Business, Human Resources, Business Analyst Certification, or the equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrated by progressively more responsible roles or positions is required. Experience working with a large, complex, and unionized HR/Payroll processing organization.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Demonstrated successful experience is required in: Time & Labour processing. Demonstrated analytical approach to problem solving, decision making and critical thinking. Proficiency in MS project, Excel, Publisher, Work and Visio. Excellent oral and written communication skills, able to work effectively with all levels of the organization. Leadership skills and the ability to work together in a team environment, as well as independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification. Comprehensive knowledge and experience working in the PeopleSoft Time and Labor 9.0 and above. Experience working with users in unionized environment.
