What you’ll do:

  • Establishes and maintains the general accounting and reporting for the organization’s United States Government Contracts.
  • Consolidate and analyses financial information for senior leadership and project managers.
  • Overseeing of Compliance and Reporting related to SOX, GAAP Audits and overall adherence to Cytiva Accounting Policy.
  • Assess and monitors internal controls associated with SOX and/or other programs.
  • Drive financial reporting aspect of project tracking as the operational execution evolves.
  • Create controls to ensure we track labour, specific expenses, and CAPEX.
  • Driving financial integrity while completing consistent and effective policies and procedures
  • Collaborating closely with teams in DHR businesses to exchange on operational improvement opportunities.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree (finance, accounting, engineering, statistics, mathematics or equivalent).
  • Previous experience working in government accounting or in audit capacity, is a plus.
  • Proficient and experienced working with contractual terms and conditions.
  • 5 years’ experience in relevant fields: FP&A, Controllership, Financial Audit, Accounting.
  • Cost Accounting / Operational plant controllership & SOX experience is a plus.
  • Experience in Excel, Oracle & Oracle BI tools, is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a team, intercultural competence, high willingness to perform as well as a structured and analytical working style.
  • Passion for continuous improvements & change management
  • Proficient skills in Project Management
  • Showed strength in US GAAP and accounting literature (i.e. FASB pronouncements)
  • Strong analytical skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to communicate sophisticated business issues in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proven problem solver: optimally led projects/operational improvements within operations/finance functions.
  • Adaptable and flexible, open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations.
  • Has the highest level of integrity, accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions and when dealing with others.
  • Up to 30% travel
