Title: CI Quality Engineer – 102632

Onsite/Remote:Partial Remote Position

This position is eligible for a flexible work schedule arrangement at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.

Your Responsibilities

As a Quality Engineer for Automation at ISG located in Urbandale, IA you will…

  • Manage quality activities for Perception System products used in our Automation and Autonomy solutions.
  • Utilize quality tools and analysis to generate quality plans and execute workflow related to Continuous Improvement and Obsolescence changes.
  • Investigate product and process quality related issues to understand root cause and drive corrective actions.
  • Review and investigate warranty claims.

What Skills You Need

  • 1 – 3 years experience relating to manufacturing/design/diagnostics of electrical systems.
  • 1 – 3 years experience using standard quality tools such as FMEA (Failure Modes Effect Analysis), SPC (Statistical Process Control), Root Cause Analysis, Statistics
  • Knowledge of drawing and schematic interpretation, product models, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Experience with software development
  • Experience with Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP), Enterprise Technology Development process (ETDP)
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification
  • ASQ certification
  • Supplier Quality experience

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Degree in an Engineering/Technology discipline or equivalent experience. – University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
  • Degree in a Science discipline or equivalent experience. – University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
  • Degree in a Math discipline or equivalent experience. – University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
