Our purpose is to support the profitability and sustainability of dairy farming. We do this by providing services that collectively benefit and advance dairy farm businesses and the industry, including investment in research and innovation, learning and capability development, marketing, policy research, market insights, and trade development. We support dairy farming in eight regions nationally with shared services based in Southbank, Melbourne.

Dairy Farming Jobs In Australia Role:

You will be responsible for managing our valued farmer connections in our West Vic Dairy business as a Farm Engagement Lead in our regional services team. You will meet with dairy farmers on a regular basis to gain a better knowledge of their farm business needs, recommending the best services and tools to enhance profitability, sustainability, and best practices on their farms.

Your ability to not just develop connections but also provide chances for meaningful and supportive involvement with dairy farmers will be critical to your success in this job. You will ensure that farmers are aware of, and participate to, the planning, design, and context of Dairy Australia’s resources and activities. Your goal will be to gain knowledge of current and emerging concerns and share it with both our internal teams and farmers in order to ensure industry relevance and knowledge exchange.

Requirements:

We want to know about your relevant tertiary study in business, agriculture, or related fields, as well as how you will make an impact by being proactive in staying on top of industry trends and maintaining high-level knowledge of Dairy Australia’s service offerings and those of other industry providers.

You will embody our ‘Famer First’ philosophy by driving engagements based on farmer requirements, company objectives, and aspirations, as well as having a long-term vision that is aligned with each farm business. A practical understanding of agricultural, rural, or adjacent industries would be advantageous.
