Howe Farming Enterprises Pty Ltd grows a variety of crops on several farms located near Mareeba. Howe Farming works under a high level of WHS procedures and a COVID-19 safe plan.  We are currently looking for farm labourers both locals and working holiday visa holders. 

We are currently looking for 40 seasonal farm laborers for upcoming crop – growing and harvesting season.  Work will commence to help grow and harvest bananas and other crops. Note that all positions will be out in the field in the open paddocks. 

Casual Full-time positions available

• Days count toward 2nd & 3rd  year visas

Team members are expected to be available for a minimum three to nine month period.

Due to the high physical demands and regular periods of hot and humid weather in Far North Queensland (FNQ), team members need to be work-fit and self motivated. Our Organisation conducts regular drug and alcohol testing to ensure a high level of WHS is maintained by all team members.  Successful candidates need to be team players who can work efficiently and accurately. 

Wages will be paid at standard casual award rates under the Horticulture Award and paid under an Enterprise Agreement. The average minimum weekly hours will be exceeding 30 hours per week.
