RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs non-technical light maintenance, housekeeping, occupancy and custodial duties under direct supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.

Performs various ad hoc assignments: minor repairs to file cabinets, office furniture, keyboard tray installation, ceiling tile replacement, carpet tile replacement.

Performs general labor work as assigned including loading, unloading and moving materials. Supports internal moves through delivery and collection of crates and other packing supplies.

Manages inventory of storage rooms to ensure contents are accounted for and orderly at all times.

Maintains key inventory, providing replacements and responding to desk and office lockouts.

Performs housekeeping functions and maintains the professional appearances of the property, equipment, engineering spaces, and common areas.

Assists maintenance staff, engineers and company vendors as requested. Escort vendors as directed and review completed work.

Performs other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience.

The salary range being offered for the Dayporter position is between $18 per hour and $20 per hour.

The compensation that is provided to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED. 1 – 2 years experience.

CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES

May require valid driver’s license.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE

Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires basic analytical skills.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES

Basic skills with Microsoft Office Outlook. Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs / ladders and ability to lift / carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
