In this position, a Crop Production Design Intern will learn and support new product development activities on cutting equipment for Livestock and Dairy customers. They will learn product usage, customer needs, prototype builds and validation, manufacturing exposure, and product design costing.
Responsibilities
- Research, design, and develop mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems for agriculture machines.
- Support the design of timely, efficient, and cost-effective agricultural equipment, subsystems and components.
- Provide assistance with prototype builds and actively engage in field operations as required.
- Develop, release, and maintain system specifications and documentation. These specifications include but are not limited to operational requirements, interfaces, validation specification, CAD models and drawings.
- Provide CAD models and documentation necessary to support Platform reviews.
This position will pay between $19.00 – $35.25 per hour.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or other related degree area.
