Reporting to the Senior Director, Finance Business Intelligence & Record to Report, this position is responsible for the Finance Support, Finance Intelligence, and Initiative Management teams ensuring stakeholders are provided with best-in-class support and both developing and operationalizing strategy for these towers within the finance organization.

This role will be required to report to one of our Corporate offices, and, therefore will not be considered a fully remote position.

What you will do:

  • Enable implementation and automation of data management controls across the Finance function
  • Lead the data lifecycle from creation to retirement by guiding the development, definition, and execution of policies, guidelines, and quality control procedures for the reporting and dissemination of data
  • Guide the design of overall strategy for master data to enable better reporting and efficient transactions
  • Support the design and maintenance of master data to ensure financial alignment with consolidations and external reporting requirements
  • Oversight of overall strategy design for Central Finance master data enabling better reporting and more efficient transactions
  • Ensure consistent maintenance of Finance master data, including integration with Central Finance
  • Ensure high-quality documentation is in place and remains current for policies, processes and associated internal controls for FBS
  • Partner with the business on delivery of reporting, automation and data needs
  • Work with stakeholders to define metrics that are impactful for the business
  • Guide and lead alignment of various strategic initiatives to multiple programs and/or projects
  • Ensure the team has the facilities, tools, resources and skills they need to deliver on commitments while tracking ongoing execution and delivery on associated projects
  • Lead program management, including implementation of data management methods and products in functional settings, and drive development of new methods and capabilities
  • Model our core value of safety, especially in the area of mental health, by leading and enabling a culture in which you and your team are actively contributing to a safe work environment
  • Identify opportunities for automation/robotics/ efficiency, change initiatives and enhancements
  • Translate the FBS strategic vision into actionable campaigns for continuous improvement and enhancement
  • Manage overall workload and rebalance tasks between resources as necessary
  • Oversight of overall financial master data and reporting governance​
  • Accurately assess team capabilities and hold them to rigorous performance standards
  • Search for new ways to reduce costs while meeting regulatory requirements
  • Communicate company goals, safety practices, and deadlines to team
  • Set clear team goals and coach members on achieving goals and developing necessary skills that get results, with a process to evaluate progress along the way in a collaborative manner
  • Apply effective people leadership skills leading a team through performance management, career development, and budget management​
  • Balance the perfect with the pragmatic to reach outcomes that move the organization forward quickly and effectively that are cost effective
  • Seamlessly manage conflicts, perspectives, and priorities
  • Keep a pulse on the latest thinking within and across industries as it relates to process design, technology, and innovation
  • Serve as an internal consultant/advisor to leadership

What you will bring:

  • A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution and 15+ years related experience of which 5+ years are in a managerial level position, CPA or MBA preferred
  • Ability to influence leaders, peers, and delivery teams to work collaboratively and adopt leading processes, technology, and methods
  • Experience working with suppliers and collaboratively liaising with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Passion for moving out of the status quo and leading change that makes an impact
  • Track record of growing innovation capability and maturity within an organization
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer skills
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Service-oriented with an ability to work seamlessly across stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Be comfortable scoping solutions to complex, ambiguous and challenging issues
  • Be comfortable working with large data sets across multiple systems
  • Work in an agile way, adjusting priorities, timelines, etc. as things change across various priorities

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Range $143,920 – $197,890 annually. This range is estimated for Director, Finance Business Intelligence role in Loveland, Colorado. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.
