We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Duty Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring guest satisfaction, and managing staff efficiently. This role is crucial to maintaining the high standards of service our guests expect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Daily Operations:
- Oversee the smooth running of all hotel departments.
- Coordinate with department heads to ensure efficient workflow and guest service.
- Guest Relations:
- Address guest complaints and inquiries promptly.
- Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction by providing exceptional service.
- Staff Supervision:
- Lead and motivate hotel staff to perform at their best.
- Conduct regular training sessions and staff meetings.
- Financial Management:
- Assist in managing hotel budgets and controlling operational costs.
- Prepare and review daily financial reports.
- Health & Safety Compliance:
- Ensure the hotel adheres to all health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address any issues immediately.
- Crisis Management:
- Handle emergencies and unexpected situations with professionalism.
- Develop and implement contingency plans as needed.
- Quality Assurance:
- Monitor the quality of services provided to guests.
- Implement improvements based on guest feedback and industry standards.
- Reporting:
- Generate and analyze operational reports for senior management.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve hotel performance.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in a hotel management or supervisory role.
- Education:
- Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Personal Traits:
- Customer-focused with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Adaptable and able to work under pressure.
- Availability:
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
