APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM DETAILS
- This is a paid apprenticeship that is tailored to emerging talent. This will not satisfy the requirements of state licenses.
- The hourly pay rate for this role starts out at $30.35 and continues to increase throughout the program—and did we mention we have plenty of snacks?!
- We will be investing in your future through a tuition reimbursement program during the apprenticeship
- Requires a 1.5-year, full-time commitment starting May 2024
- Your journey with us will include a full onboarding and professional development including executive exposure, networking events, and community activities
- This role is located in Kansas City, Kansas and must be completed fully onsite
HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Not only will you be working day to day on our production lines, but also participating in robust professional development to give you a great taste of Kellogg * Utilize Your Education – You will be putting your textbook knowledge to the test in a real-world environment and be a part of how the snacks get made
- Be a Problem Solver – Identifying and examining production equipment failures using root cause analysis. Interpreting schematics, drawings, and utilizing programmable logic controller troubleshooting techniques to repair electrical & mechanical systems such as pneumatics, drives, hydraulics, and conveyors
- Bake Your Best Ideas – As emerging talent in this field, you will be shaping this industry—your ideas are the missing ingredient we need to bring our best to the table!
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
- Student must be currently enrolled or eligible for enrollment at an accredited community college/trade school and available for a 1.5 year full-time commitment starting May 2024
- Previous exposure to electrical concepts through either classroom or work experience
- Must prove ability to perform basic tasks based on a technical aptitude test
- Ability to manage multiple and conflicting priorities
- A desire to improve the place you work
- Problem solving and analytical skills
