Job Description
Enginuity Global is looking to hire electricians to join our team. This position will work in Baton Rouge, LA, and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate must possess basic mechanical skills and knowledge of electrical construction.
Responsibilities
- Must have a basic understanding of NEC
- Measure, cut, bend, thread, and install conduit.
- Be able to install wires.
- Ability to communicate with other individuals.
- Communicate with clients in a professional manner while representing the company in a positive manner.
Skills
Organization: Maintain a high level of organization and apply systems to establish organization.
Customer Service: Always looking for a way to help customers and co-workers;, a team player mindset is critical.
Desired Qualities
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to learn.
- Ability to assist Journeyman in daily job activities.
- Be on time.
- Willingness to go above and beyond.
Requirements
- 1-5 years of experience in an industrial setting
- Stable work history
- Must be legally eligible to work in the US. Sponsorship is not available.
- Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screening
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to comply with customer site requirements for access/entry
- Must have a TWIC card or the ability to obtain
- Willing to travel.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
- See, respond, and report to possibly dangerous situations
- Comfortable with heights and able to climb stairs/ladders
- Bending, reaching, kneeling, and use of a step ladder at times
- Ability to work in inclement weather and/or extreme weather-related conditions
- Required to wear PPE/Safety gear at specific times
