On Line Recruitment are currently looking for Factory Hands!
Our Client Manufactures over 300 products sold across the Construction, Protective Coating, Mining and Surf Industries. They manufacture products across Urethane, Epoxy, Acrylic, Vinyl ester and Polyester chemistries, producing finished products from very low viscosity through to extremely thick pastes and distribute or export products from large multinational companies to direct shop sales!
Our Client supplies products such as adhesives and coatings to industries such as Pool, Marine, Transport-Automotive-Bus-Truck-Train-Aircraft, Corrosion Resistance Pipes & Vessels, Waterproofing, Protective Coatings, Civil Engineering, General Building, Surf & Mining. Leading the way in development of specialised products tailored to the processes of our customers.
Our Client is currently looking for Factory Hands to assist in manufacturing and packaging various products. As a Factory Hand you will be required to work under the supervision of a senior team member in lifting, carrying and moving raw ingredients and finished products. Once the finished product has been made you will then assist in the labelling, packaging and placing on to pallets ready for distribution.
As a Factory Hand you may be required to;
- Follow instructions and work under the supervision of the team lead or supervisor.
- Perform manual labour tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials and equipment within the chemical factory.
- Assist in the setup and preparation of machinery and equipment for production runs.
- Clean and maintain work areas, including sweeping, and removing debris.
- Load and unload materials and products using manual labour or material handling equipment.
- Support the team in adhering to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with co-workers and communicate effectively to ensure efficient workflow.
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
What we are looking for in a Factory Hand;
To be successful in this role, there are a few things we are looking for:
- Previous experience as a labourer or in a similar physically demanding role is preferred.
- Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labour tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Effective communication skills to interact with co-workers and follow instructions.
