Farm Hand Jobs in Quebec

• Seasonal position starting in January and ending around mid-April.
• Carry out winter pruning;
• Watering (fungicides, insecticides, herbicides, fertilizers);
• Mowing and chopping the branches;
• Thinning;
• Tool maintenance;
• Participate in the planting of apple trees;
• Classify, repair and store dumpsters upon return from harvest;
• Participate in any other work on the orchard;
• Ensure the application of health and safety rules;

Required Skills:

• Interest in agriculture in general;
• Good knowledge of basic mechanics;
• Autonomy;
• Good physical shape;
• Know how to drive a farm tractor, forklift or any other tool and equipment required in the orchard.

Farm Hand Jobs Qualifications:

• Likes teamwork;
• Likes to work outdoors;
• Hold a pesticide application permit (an asset);
• Have access to a car and a valid driver’s license;
• Possess a forklift driver’s license.
