Your role
Whilst providing assistance and support to farm management across a wide variety of farming activity, this Farm Assistant /Farmhand role is very much a ‘first step’ in a career in agriculture. The successful candidate will ‘live’ Welfare as a Condition in all that they do. They will contribute to the efficient running of the laying farm and have the opportunity to learn ‘hands on’ how to produce high quality hatching eggs.
Simultaneously, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow and development via our bespoke Agriculture Academy. ‘Growing our own’ agriculture specialists and leaders of the future is something that is extremely important to Moy Park.
This role is a 5 from 7 shift pattern, with a sixth day as required by the needs of the business, covering 40 hours a week.

- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- A keen interest in farming where animal welfare is of the upmost importance
- Desire to work ‘hands on’ in a farming environment
- To be reliable and flexible
