Overview of The Role

As part of the MDSS (Master Data Shared Services) team, the MDSS Analyst is part of the Master Data Maintenance core team. He or she is responsible for the completion and approval of change requests submitted by master data owners to Create, Update, Read, and Delete core master data records. He or she works closely with the MD regional team and is focused on supporting the business sustainment operations by achieving established quality metrics and service level agreements. The MDSS Analyst also supports the Master Data Governance team in executing global projects and other sustainment activities. This includes documentation, training, and working on other continued improvement projects.

How You Will Make Contributions That Matter:

  • Support Change request activities in SAP(MDG) of creation/update/extensions of (Material Master/ Customer/Vendor)
  • Ensure master data is clean, relevant, and complete, as per the data governance standards
  • Drive a culture of master data understanding and compliance when communicating with all teams
  • Support regional master data team in the timely completion of MDG change requests
  • Understand and achieve key performance indicators (KPI’s) as well as service level agreements
  • Develop and maintain documentation (ie Job aids, process documentation, status reports, etc) as needed and in alignment with Global IT PMO governance.
  • Provide support to the overall maintenance team in training business users, business support and administrative tasks
  • Work with remote teams both business and IT across multiple geographies and time zones

You Are Best Suited for The Role If You Have the Following Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree business, MIS, or relevant field
  • 1-2 years of experience in master data and SAP (preferably in Material Master, Customer Master, Vendor Master, and Finance)
  • Some knowledge of SAP tables, including tools to use for mass upload of data to SAP system
  • Understanding of how data is used within business processes and its impact on desired business outcomes
  • Knowledge of business processes preferred in Supply Chain, Order-to-Cash, or Procurement
  • MDG (Master Data Governance) tool experienced a plus
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Visio, Power Point
  • Can execute data analysis by using VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables…
  • Has worked in MS Power point to build presentations
  • Recent graduate with the right profile and experience will be considered
