Koch Ag & Energy Solutions (KAES) is seeking EH&S interns to join our teams this upcoming Summer 2024 at one of our many nationwide locations.
Koch Industries has been consistently selected as one of the top 100 Internship Programs in the U.S by WayUp. The internship opportunity will be a 12-week program running from late May to mid-August 2024.

As an Environmental, Health & Safety intern, you will apply what you have learned over the past few years while developing new skills that you can apply throughout your career. Koch’s internship programs provide a way for you to explore your passions and learn new skills to further your impact and reach your full potential.
What You Will Do
- Gain experience in safe work practices, including work permitting, energy control, hot work, and confined space entry.
- Participate in EH&S audit teams, incident investigations, and projects requiring EH&S expertise.
- Assist with implementation of EH&S programs and EH&S trainings.
- Form relationships with key customers such as operations, maintenance, and contractor personnel.
- Develop your capability around risk-planning tools and grow your knowledge of regulatory frameworks, compliance, and government and legal interactions.
- Support operating sites by understanding and maintaining compliance with Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and other regulations relevant to Koch Fertilizer
Possible Locations: Dodge City, KS; Fort Dodge, IA, Beatrice, NE

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Enrolled in a degree or alternative program. (e.g., 2-year technical college program, certificate program, upskilling program, etc.)
- Eligible for full time employment on or before Summer 2026.
- Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Enrolled in an Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science related degree program.
