We’re looking for an experienced Landscape Tradesman to join our team at Beaches Group. If you love working outdoors and have a real passion for creating beautiful gardens and outdoor spaces, we’d like to hear from you.

You’ll be working on some really nice residential projects around the Northern Beaches. The work involves everything from building retaining walls and laying pavers to planting gardens and installing outdoor features. We need someone who knows their stuff, works well with others, and takes pride in doing a good job.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Building retaining walls, paving, courtyards, and areas around pools
• Reading plans and turning them into actual landscapes
• Planting trees, shrubs, and laying turf
• Using different landscaping tools and machinery
• Constructing things like fences, garden beds, and other outdoor features
• Keeping work sites tidy and safe
• Working with the rest of the team to get projects done properly and on time
• Talking with clients and keeping them in the loop
• Looking after garden maintenance for some of our regular clients
• Sorting out any problems that come up during a job

What We Need From You

Must have:

• Experience working as a landscaper or tradesman
• Good understanding of how to build landscape features and what materials work best
• Able to read landscape plans
• Know how to use landscaping equipment safely
• Eye for detail and ability to figure things out when problems arise
• Good at communicating with both clients and the team
• Can work on your own or with others
• Fit enough to handle physical work in different weather
• Driver’s license (if it’s from overseas, you’ll need to swap it for an NSW one within 6 months)

Would be great if you have:

• Certificate III in Landscaping or Horticulture
• Experience on higher-end projects
• Knowledge about plants and materials
• Structural landscaping experience
• Stone masonry skills
• White Card (or happy to get one)
• Can operate small excavators

If You’re Coming From Overseas

• Make sure your experience matches what we’re after
• Pass an English test (unless you’re exempt)
• Get Overseas Visitor Health Cover for your visa
• Pay for your own flight over to Australia
