About the Company
RFM manages approximately $2.0 billion of agricultural assets on behalf of retail and institutional investors. About the opportunity
We are looking for multiple farm hands to work on our existing macadamia orchards and developments across multiple properties in the Fitzroy region. We are seeking someone that is self-motivated, has a strong safety focus and enjoys working outdoors.
Reporting to the Orchard Manager, you will be responsible for:
- All aspects of farm work
- Contributing to the development and installation of irrigation systems
- Operating farming machinery
- Assisting with the herbicide and pesticide application
- Contributing to a positive and productive working environment.
Requirements
- You will hold a C class drivers licence (essential)
- You will have experienced working on a farm (preferred)
- You will be flexible, reliable and available to work hours which may vary to meet operational demands (with potential for Saturday work)
- A positive, can-do attitude is essential
- A holder of a Chemical Users Certificate (preferred but not essential)
- Certificate II or III in Rural Studies or Horticulture or Agriculture (preferred but not essential)
