The maintenance coordinator will be based out of Port Coquitlam, BC and will report directly to the maintenance manager. The Maintenance Coordinator will collaborate with production, planning and quality to coordinate preventative maintenance activities to ensure downtime is minimized while equipment is maintained effectively and efficiently while following all food safety and health and safety protocols.

How you will make contributions that matter…

  • Administers and coordinates preventative maintenance for all equipment
  • Work with CMMS (MP2/FIXX/SAP etc) software to ensure all equipment are scheduled for PM’s and other maintenance as needed.
  • Input all work orders, purchase inventory and equipment inventories into CMMS (MP2/FIXX/SAP etc) software
  • Maintain a current list of equipment in service daily, along with equipment tracking.
  • Communicate with management, maintenance teams, production, warehouse other departments, related to maintenance issues, requests and questions.
  • Track maintenance requests and communicate back solutions/results.
  • Maintain proper contractor documentation (Annual Inspections, Calibration Records, Food Safety and contractor sign off ’s) that provide services to Plant.
  • Data Collection to support Maintenance KPIs.
  • Budget, plan, communicate and execute facility shut downs including parts kitting
  • Control and monitor critical equipment/parts inventory
  • Ensure company equipment and material receives proper care custody, maintenance and usage
  • Participate in business planning meetings as require with the local management team
  • Assists with the handling of non-scheduled and unexpected breakdowns with the goals to keep equipment operating as much as possible.
  • Lead and support the transition to SAP for the maintenance department
