John Zink Hamworthy Combustion , a Koch Engineered Solutions Company is looking for a Retrofits Manager ! The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for managing the Flare Replacement and Retrofits (R&R) Technical Sales Team based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA and will report to the Commercial Director, Flares and Related Systems. This managerial role will require a candidate with customer focus and excellent communication skills. The manager of the Replacements & Retrofits Technical Sales Team will be expected to apply Koch’s internal principles as a part of developing their team. The successful candidate will be expected to act independently to cultivate a positive R&R team culture while also writing quotes for customers.

What You Will Do
- Responsible for managing the Replacements & Retrofits team as they support potential customers across numerous industries.
- Developing team capabilities while profitably supporting customers.
- Drive successful opportunity development and win equipment orders.
- Oversee each team member as they work with engineering and estimating to design the appropriate equipment, estimate the costs, and set the sales prices.
- Ensuring positive customer interactions through support requests over the phone, via email, and face to face.
- Work with customers including small EPC firms and operating industrial facilities.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- 2+ years of technical sales or project management experience in an engineered product business
- B.S. in Engineering, a business-related degree, or 5+ years of experience in the combustion industry.
- Must be able to travel up to 30% of your time with potentially extended stays in remote locations, occasionally internationally.
- Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to work in a typical office environment. Must be able to wear PPE for shop location and field visits, including steel toe boots, safety glasses, NOMEX or other fire protective clothing.
What Will Put You Ahead
- 2+ years of managerial experience in a commercial role
- 2+ years of field experience in an industrial environment
- SalesForce experience
- Technical experience in the combustion industry
- Advanced degree in a related field (eg: MBA, Master’s, etc)
