Merchandiser/Driver (FT-day shifts) Job Details:
The Fruit People are expanding the team and looking for an experienced Merchandiser/driver. This role working as part of our Operations VIP team will be responsible for delivery of products and onsite merchandising for our key customers.
Responsibilities:
Delivery of produce to customer locations
Monitoring of stock levels and weekly stock counts
Identifying slow & fast moving products and making recommendations based on observations
Stocking kitchen areas and merchandising to ensure each display looks appealing
Ensuring that coffee machines/fridges/kitchen area etc are clean and well stocked
Liaising with customer and building relationship
Reviewing inventory report and gather feedback from customers
Coordination and management of the Merchandiser Team
Feedback of customer requirements and any issues to the Operations Team
Working closely with other departments (eg Cust Services, Procurement & Inventory Team) as well as the Management Team in a fast paced environment
Requirements
Strong communication skills and a good team player are essential
Problem solving skills and ability to think on your feet, prioritise and delegate!
Customer Service experience – we aim to ‘delight’ our customers!
Polite & well presented with a positive attitude
Strong organisational skills – attention to detail is key
Physically fit with an excellent work ethic
Experience driving a van
Over 25 with a full clean EU or Irish Driving Licence
A morning person – some of our shifts have a 5am start!
Benefits:
Salary €35,000pa
Full time, Permanent Role
5 days a week – Sunday to Thursday (roster will vary week to week)
