Our client is a significant agricultural company with a diverse portfolio of large scale cropping enterprises across Australia. We are currently seeking a permanent Mixed crop and Livestock Farmer to join an energetic team located near Goolgowi NSW.

Reporting to the Farm Manager the successful applicants will require:
5+ years of practical experience in broad acre cropping
A high attention to detail in all aspects of farming operations
Experience in operating and maintaining a range of modern farming machinery
Management and supervision staff
Planning and coordinating the production and marketing of crops and livestock
Raising livestock to produce meat.
Monitoring and maintaining the health and condition of livestock
Ensuring livestock are fed and watered and cared for according to animal welfare guidelines.
Ability to cultivate, plant and harvest crop and grain in the relevant seasons in accordance to cropping plans.
Operate or tend to equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, headers, trucks, boom sprays and irrigation equipment.
Maintaining facilities including equipment, machinery and infrastructure of the property including but not limited to fencing, water
systems, yard maintenance and weed/pest control.
Planning and coordinating the production and marketing of crops.
Operate towed machines such as seed drills or manure spreaders to plant, fertilize, dust, and spray crops.
Directing and overseeing general farming/feedlot activities
General machinery operation, repair, and maintenance.
Facilitate the sale, purchase and transportation of livestock and produce
select, train, and supervise staff and contractors
Organising and conducting farming operations
Chemical accreditation and application experience
Current first aid certificate or the ability to obtain
Accurate record keeping
Maintain a professional image
Drivers & HR licence (desirable)
Adherence to OH&S regulations

This role comes with an attractive salary package between $60-80k including family accommodation.
