Poultry Process Worker (Poultry Boner) Job Details:

Experience Required: At least 2-3 years’ experience desired (working as a boner)

Skills Required:

• Exceptional knife skills
• Maintaining a fast and consistent pace – Up to approx. 100 birds boned / hour desired
• Physically fit
• Attention to detail

Salary Range: $64,000 to $74,000 + superannuation commensurate with skills and experience

Position Description:

The main duties for this position will be:

• Boning chicken to acceptable standards and specification.
• General site cleanup.
• Reporting any quality concerns.
• Adhering to the principles of organic chicken production and food safety standards.

Other duties may include:

• Kill floor duties that may include use of knives, manual evisceration, & grading of processed birds.
• Removing portions from carcass and trimming where necessary.
• Making cartons.
• Sorting and packing portions of chickens into trays or placing whole chickens into bags.
• Picking and preparing orders, printing pallet stickers, reconciling cartons.
• Any other work, within your skills and capability, as directed by your team leader
