Exact Contracting is looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join our team on our remote road construction projects in the Northern Territory.

The successful candidate will work a 14 days on, 7 days off FIFO roster in remote locations and is required to often work in hot, dry and dusty conditions.

You will be responsible for assisting project management with:

  • Day to day resourcing of the project;
  • Overseeing request for information submissions;
  • Contract administration;
  • Producing financial and monthly reports;
  • Managing subcontractors; and
  • Quality assurance.

The successful applicant will have:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent;
  • Experience with bulk earthworks or road construction projects;
  • A strong commitment to quality, safety, and environmental measures;
  • Strong problem solving skills:
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to effectively liaise with other employees, clients, suppliers, and sub-contractors;
  • Meticulous documentation and organisational skills;
  • A methodical approach to work;
  • Desire to work in remote locations; and
  • A hands-on approach.

Pre-Employment:

All candidates will be required to pass a National Police Clearance (within 3 months), pre-employment medical, and a drug and alcohol screen.
