About our Client
We are currently seeking a Receptionist for our client in Burnaby, Canadian Food Inspection Agency- Federal Government. This is a full-time temporary position starting ASAP until November 3rd, 2023 with the possibility of getting it extended and working hours will be from 8 am – 4: 00 pm. Our client is looking for those who have already obtained their Reliability Status security clearance to be added to our roster of available temp help staff. Alternatively, if you do not have a Reliability Security Clearance and are willing to obtain one, then we still want to hear from you. Recruiting in Motion can assist you with obtaining your security clearance documents. This is a great opportunity to gain experience within the Federal Government of Canada and be considered for additional ongoing Federal Government work so don’t hesitate!
Responsibilities
- Answering telephones, managing emails, and scheduling appointments
- Handling and processing basic paperwork and files
- Creating basic documents, photocopying, and scanning
- Entering basic data into reports and spreadsheets
- Other entry-level duties as assigned
Qualifications
- A minimum of 1-year previous experience in an office environment
- Approved Reliability Status security clearance with the Canadian Government, or a willingness to get the required clearance through us
- Must have lived in Canada for a minimum of 5 years, without leaving for more than 6 consecutive months
- Must be willing to complete a criminal record check and fingerprinting
- Basic MS Office skills
- Organizational skills
- Friendly and personable demeanor
- Must be fully vaccinated
