Job Description & Summary A career in Risk Management, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to advance and foster integrity based decision making and conduct by clients employees throughout their organisation. Our Risk Management Generalist – Client Services team focuses on promoting and monitoring compliance with applicable external laws and regulations as well as internal policies and procedures to help manage clients regulatory, litigation, and reputational risk.

Meaningful work you’ll be part of

As a Risk and Quality Senior Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Engaging with the business through structured processes including Consulting Project Acceptance Committee and informal processes such as risk consultation discussions on new and ongoing engagements. Our work is done in compliance with PwC’s Global Network Quality Management Systems and Risk Processes Standard (“QMSRP”), which has been established to enable our practitioners to meet applicable professional standards, regulatory and legal requirements.

As part of the Consulting Project Acceptance Committee (ConPAC) team conduct timely review of eligible Consulting proposals and contracts with the focus on identification and mitigation of compliance, contracting, and delivery risks

Provide front line guidance to the business on Risk and Quality policies, processes and compliance requirements

Conduct and support Risk and Quality training for new and experienced Consulting staff and Partners

Develop Risk and Quality content (such as Risk Alerts, highlights, guidance documents, training materials, forms and templates to support risk processes)

Identify and implement solutions and process improvements that advance the Consulting Risk and Quality objectives

Lead and support Risk and Quality projects and initiatives. Represent Consulting Risk & Quality on the firm-wide initiatives

Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve

Previous experience as a Management Consultant with skills and experience corresponding to a Senior Manager level

An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work

Ability to attentively read a variety of business and legal documents, with an eye for detail and ability to synthesize and conclude on key risks

Willingness to learn on the job and ability to accept and build on peer feedback

The drive and interest to identify risks facing PwC’s Consulting business, to service our Consulting staff and Partners, and support them in developing risk mitigation strategies

Ability to communicate concisely and effectively to a senior audience, both in writing and verbally

Exceptional organizational skills, ability to multitask, prioritize, and work within tight deadlines

The ability to adapt to a fast paced environment which may require flexible and/or overtime working hours

The ability to interact well with people and to work in a collaborative team environment

Knowledge of PwC’s engagement acceptance and delivery processes is a plus

Understanding of contracts and knowledge of French is a plus

A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences, developing and coaching diverse teams, and ensuring diverse perspectives are heard
