Senior Farm Hand Job Role
- Operating Air-seeders
- Handling of livestock
- Operating road train Tippers
- Vaccinating/drenching Sheep
- Operating rollers and other mobile plants
- General farm maintenance
- Daily record keeping
Skills & Experience
Previous experience driving road trains, as well as prior familiarity with Tippers, is required. You will also be expected to use Air-seeding equipment and other farming machines on a regular basis. The following are the desired criteria for the role:
- MC – Licence for multiple combinations (Essential)
- Experience as an air-seeder
- ChemCert (Desirable) (Desirable)
- Proven ability to operate as part of a team Ability to work long hours in difficult conditions
- An attitude that fosters teamwork and morale
- Must be physically strong
The farm is located in South Australia’s gorgeous Clare Valley area, 50 minutes from the coast and two hours from Adelaide. The surrounding region is well-known for its wineries, fishing holes, national parks, and gorgeous vistas.
