Farm and Production Coordinator Job Description:

Magnus Kahl Seeds Pty Ltd is a privately owned company operating throughout Australia and various global markets. The company is involved in the breeding, production, and marketing of a range of quality onion genetics. 

Responsibilities

• Manage all operational field activities associated with onion bulb production and breeding seed production
• Commercial seed production – In conjunction with the company agronomist, manage all field based activities associated with local commercial seed production
• Fresh produce packing and dispatch – Manage a team of three packing staff. 
• Communicate with customers for weekly orders
• Communicate with transport companies for delivery of the product.  
• Manage and maintain 10 acre company property – Includes maintaining machinery, buildings, garden & surrounds

Applicant Requirements

• A forklift license is essential
• Farm chemical users license is essential
• Experience in operating, tractors, boom sprayers, & forklifts is essential
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team 
• Positive, motivated attitude with a solutions based mindset
• Excellent time management skills and competent IT skills
• Ability to travel interstate when required

Remuneration

The position attracts a gross total remuneration package of $80,000.
