Service Technician/General Labour Job Details:

We have a full-time position for a Skilled General Laborer in Calgary, AB.
ROLE SUMMARY & IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
The Skilled General Laborer is an essential role within the BOXX Modular branch. The role is responsible for cleaning, maintenance and repair to ensure that our Modular fleet is in optimal condition for our customers. The ideal candidate will be a well- rounded general contractor or handyman, with experience in areas such as flooring, window and wall repairs and exterior siding.
Working hours are Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day with occasional overtime.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete general labor type duties, sanitize and clean modular units before they go to clients and/or returned to site
- Work closely with the Fleet Administrator and provide update on condition of fleet
- General maintenance duties, such as painting, and fleet care
- Loading/Unloading of decks, ramps, furniture and other items as needed
- Manage warehouse inventory & shelving system for the branch
Qualifications:
- One to three years of skills general laborer experience and/or handyman, Modular or trailer/RV experience would be an asset
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, while juggling multiple priorities
- Positive attitude, with strong work ethic and team player
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to travel to customer site on occasion within the local service area, during work hours
- Fall protection, First Aid Certification and WHMIS an asset
- Able to pass a pre-employment criminal records check and Drug and Alcohol Testing
Physical Requirements
- Must stand for long periods, with frequent lifting up to 75lbs
- Able to work in all weather conditions (outdoors)
