Roughan & O’Donovan is looking to recruit a structural engineering technician with three to five years’ relevant experience for a permanent position within our buildings team.

Essential
· Good working knowledge of Revit
· Experience of creating structural models in Revit
· Experience of leading clash detection from a structural perspective
· Experience of creating and managing a family library
· Experience in the development of Revit templates
· Strong knowledge of all aspects of building technology and construction
· Good team work skills
· Self-motivation skills
· A strong work ethic
· Ability to mentor junior staff
· Fluent/highly proficient in spoken and written English
Desirable
· Experience of using Navisworks
· Knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D
· Knowledge and experience of using CADS-RC
· Good knowledge of AutoCAD
· Experience of preparing general arrangement and reinforced concrete/structural steelwork drawings
· Interaction with structural engineering analysis software, such as Robot
